Cue the raucous laughter
How juvenile in nature!
Where does this sorry girl reside?
I wish to lock her up for good
But she fails to even hide.
She is held captive by a love
Which isn't hers to keep
Yet she dreams about it everyday
And mumbles in her sleep -
Waiting for this prince of hers
She can almost see his face
But when she lifts her arms up high
She is met with no embrace.
For this sorry silent prince of hers
Never did exist
And instead of stroking his dear face
She gets a pillow for a kiss!
